Stabilised Nylon

A lingerie-sewing essential for adding structure without bulk.

This non-stretch nylon stabiliser is completely rigid in one direction and has a very small amount of give (mechanical stretch) in the other. Also known as sheer cup lining or denier, it’s ideal for adding lightweight support to your handmade lingerie. It’s semi-sheer, making it perfect for:

• Stabilising bra cradles

• Lining underwired bra cups

• Creating internal bra slings

With a soft hand feel and excellent shape retention, it provides the support you need while maintaining a delicate, barely-there appearance under lace or mesh.
