Nylon Tricot Fabric

A beautifully smooth and silky nylon tricot with a soft drape, excellent coverage, and a luxurious feel against the skin. The 100% nylon filaments naturally reflect light, producing a liquid-like sheen that gives this fabric an elegant, high-quality finish.

At approximately 50 denier, this medium-weight tricot is slightly heavier than our popular 40 denier version. It offers a little more body, opacity, and support while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear. It also has slightly less mechanical give across the width, making it an excellent choice when you need a little extra stability.

This fabric has some give across the width and no stretch with the grain. For bra making, many sewists choose to line cups with the direction of give running opposite to the main fabric to create additional support and stability.

Its smooth surface allows clothing to glide easily over it, making it ideal for linings and foundations. It doesn't fray easily, handles beautifully during sewing, and is versatile enough for a wide range of lingerie projects.
