Make your own underwired bra and matching brief with this premium bra making kit.

Fat quarter 0.5m x 0.55m stabilised nylon in ivory (for cup lining, cradle lining)

0.3m x 0.5m ivory medium-heavy powermesh (for back wing, brief)

1m x 15mm ivory plush elastic (for underband)

1m x 10mm ivory plush elastic (for underarm/upper wing)

2.2m x 12mm ivory bra strapping (for bra straps, brief side straps)

2.5m x 15mm fold over elastic (for waistband, legs)

1m x 6mm narrow elastic (cup edge, front waistband of brief) 

4 x 12mm rose gold rings

4 x 12mm rose gold sliders

1 x ivory & rose gold 38mm hook & eye closure

0.9m ivory wire casing

20 x 15cm scrap ivory 100% organic cotton (for gusset/crotch lining)

Please note: This kit is ideal for making a set using the Peaches Bra (View A or B) and a coordinating bottom such as the Arielle Thong. The lace is wide enough to make bra sizes up to a UK 36D, when making a larger size you may need to incorporate additional seams. The kit can also be used with other patterns, but please check your chosen pattern’s material requirements before ordering. Patterns are not included and must be purchased separately.

About Opaline:

Opaline is a beautiful, premium embroidered tulle with a soft, romantic feel. The semi-transparent base is a printed stretch mesh in a delicate mix of muted blush, yellow, blue and peach tones, overlaid with intricate floral embroidery in ivory and champagne.

The combination of the softly coloured print and raised embroidery gives Opaline a lovely depth and texture, while the semi-sheer base keeps it light and delicate. It's particularly beautiful for lingerie, bra cups, bralettes, briefs and other special-occasion sewing projects.
